Proceco's integrated cleaning systems are
much more than standard industrial parts washers. They are
innovative engineered solutions that integrate aqueous parts
cleaning technology with supplementary processes in one multi-task,
comprehensive system that meet your exact needs. At Proceco,
we employ a modular design philosophy that offers fast system
delivery while ensuring custom integration with your manufacturing
environment. Our modular platforms allow remarkable flexibility
for customizing your system to your specific requirements.
Base modules can be combined in a variety of multi-stage configurations,
and are available with a vast array of features and options,
to achieve the highest productivity for your post-machining
processes.
Proceco integrated cleaning systems provide
unique advantages:
- Increased productivity
- Improved product quality
- Replacement of complementary process
machinery, upstream and downstream parts cleaning
- Reduced parts handling and related equipment
such as conveyors
- Reduced operating cost
- One source of responsibility for component
compatibility, systems design, and integration
- Reduced floor space

Material handling systems offered range
from belt, chain and monorail conveyors to synchronous or
non-synchronous pallet transfer systems, and from simple two-axis
pick-and-place devices to fully programmable robotic installations.
Because Proceco takes design responsibility for both process
equipment and material handling, we can guarantee the perfect
compatibility of all systems.

Depending on cleanliness requirements, Proceco
systems incorporate any one or a combination of cleaning processes
such as power spray, power flush, immersion with or without
agitation/rotation, inserting spraying probe, ultrasonics
and precision-aimed solid-stream nozzles. A variety of full-flow
multi-stage filtration systems ensure cleaning solutions do
not exceed
allowed particle sizes.

Processes offered include phosphating (iron,
zinc, manganese, organic phosphate conversion coatings), acid
pickling, desmutting, fluorescent penetrant, anodizing, shoot
peening as well as rust protection. Surface treatment can
be done by immersion, spray, flooding, electrostatic spray
or slurry blast centrifugal-bladed wheel.

High-precision deburring is achieved by
targeted high-pressure water jet using the proper delivering
process selected from a wide range of nozzle configurations,
from precision aimed and probing nozzles to rotary probing
and rotary jet nozzles. Parts may be fixtured for continuous
processing or directly manipulated by articulating or Cartesian
robots. The use of robotics achieves high precision and process
flexibility by adapting to various part configurations. Because
Proceco's hydro deburring technology uses continuously recirculated
filtered liquid, a consistently high level of precision cleaning
or deburring can be achieved. As an added bonus, this technology
is solvent free and environmentally safe.

Proceco offers a variety of verification
devices to confirm part presence, verify orientation or identify
part model when integrated systems are engineered to process
different models of a workpiece. Automated inspection systems
including leak testing, pressure testing and gauging as well
as identification systems such as marking can also be added.

Drying processes are integrated into Proceco
systems. Depending on the application, regenerative blow-off,
precision compressed-air blow-off nozzles, convection or vacuum
drying, or any combination thereof, will be used. Where part-exit
temperature is important, cooling systems are supplied and
can be configured vertically to minimize floor space.
