Typhoon^®AWW Aircraft Wheel Cleaning System

The Typhoon^®AWW Aircraft Wheel cleaning system is designed to clean up to 30 aircraft wheel hubs of any size in an 8-hour shift. This unique parts washer uses the latest aqueous cleaning technology complying with environmental regulations, to remove grease, rubber residues, dirt, and brake dust from wheel hubs prior to inspection or overhaul.

A base model uses recirculating, hot alkaline aqueous solution sprayed on the wheel at high pressure to remove oil, grease, and dirt. At the same time, the rotating brush removes accumulated rubber on the bead seat area. The wheel is then freshwater rinsed and blow-off dried. The system shown above is equipped with an optional automatic load and unload system to reduce handling and risk of injury. Other options such as higher jet pressure and slurry blast are available to tailor the aircraft wheel cleaning system to your needs.
