  • LOGISTIC COORDINATOR

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    To provide logistics & customs clearance expertise to help PROCECO realize its goals of expanding and becoming the market leader. As a member of the Purchasing team, the Logistics Coordinator assumes complete responsibility in all exports and imports of PROCECO machines, spare parts orders and material purchases.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate machine and spare parts order shipments as per schedules.
    • Lead the purchasing team in choosing the best economical and reliable shipping methods.
    • Performs back order follow-up tasks on purchased materials.
    • Lead in the efforts to return unused purchased materials to suppliers.
    • Lead in the efforts to sale obsolete, unused purchased materials to outside sources.
    • Assist the purchasing manager in all materials management related tasks such as cycle counting.
    • Coordinate all customs clearance open issues.
    • Obtain truck transportation and Ocean quotes for potential sales.
    • Maintain good relations with all transportation service providers.
    • Perform all logistics tasks including, create invoice, packing slip, CUSMA and CERS documents.
    • Assists customer service in sales order expedition tasks.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • DEC or DEP (Logistics preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in all logistics related tasks.
    • Bilingual, written and spoken English and French.
    • Understands and follows common CUSMA, CERS rules and practices.
    • Previous experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
    • Ability to satisfy the customer expectations.
    • Strong knowledge of oversize truck transportation, as well as a basic knowledge of ocean freight terms and rules.
    • Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.

  • PROJECT MANAGER

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    Experienced project manager in charge of orders for multiple clients (projects). Responsible for all resources allocated to projects in a custom industrial manufacturing and automation environment.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Works with clients to ensure the proposal / scope of the project meets expectations for features and functionality.
    • Manages and negotiates changes to the scope of the project (design and control changes).
    • Works with project planners to continually prioritize team tasks in a multi-project environment.
      Ensures that project teams adhere strictly to ISO 9001 procedures and manufacturing quality expectations.
      Works proactively to meet or improve timelines and budgets.
    • Track payments by deadlines and work to avoid financial exposure risks.
      Identifies risks by collaboration and develops strategies to reduce the impact.
    • Supervises the supply of material and ensures the timely delivery of critical items.
    • Communicates with the entire organization, from the project team to the senior management, to ensure the success of the project.
    • Boost morale and resolve conflicts within a project team.
    • Organizes and leads feedback meetings on lessons learned, and generates feedback to improve the process.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or a DEC with 10 years of relevant experience.
    • PMP / PMI Certifications preferred.
      Bilingual: French and English, spoken and written.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills:
      Oral and written communication, including active listening skills.
      Negotiation and conflict resolution.
      Problems solving.
    • Improvement through knowledge and mastery of best practices.
      Ability to convince or influence.
    • Skills with software:.
      - AutoCAD (reading drawings only).
      - Microsoft Office / Microsoft Project.
      - Management and financial modules of an ERP system.

  • WELDER/ASSEMBLER

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    Assemble projects of every category and manage assigned personnel, space and material within the specified timeframes.

    Mechanical Manufacturing Foreman

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides the mechanical manufacturing of projects under the supervision of the engineering team.
    • Meets and maintains security standards in their team and their workspace.
    • Enforces, for their team and themselves, high quality and compliance requirements.
    • Meets deadlines and specified timeframes.
    • Efficiently manages assigned personnel.
    • Is available outside of regular working hours when circumstances so require.
    • Completes and signs inspection forms.
    • Identifies and reports issues on relevant documents.
    • Defines time estimates left to complete current projects when required.
    • Actively participates in various project manufacturing meetings.
    • Provides customer service.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

    • Recognized training in welding assembly.
    • Basic knowledge of mechanics, plumbing, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, industrial gases and industrial concepts.
    • Very high level of self-sufficiency.
    • At least 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment.
